But I had to say I miss you guys (Steve and John)...But I thank god they donīt play stare at the sun because I love that song and this song live without John isnīt the same for me And support Area 54 great music and great guys...Perhaps their drummer hat to put some clothes on his nearly nacked body .....And the next gig is Trivium but most of all because of the support: Annihilator

Hi Mrs MG!!!!
With whom did you text?? With the Blazeguys or the 54s???? Yeah I think they are on the way home...I left the location at hmm 2 oīclock in the morning and the Blazeguys had their flight at 6...Dek is funny yes...My friend Chris wanted to protect me of donīt look at him because I`m married ...I think some of the 54 guys know me as the Slaterfan I donīt know why but okay ...Ok the crowd?? I saw some guys with 54 Shirts and a lot with Blaze BUT I saw altogether sadly only about 50 fans...But all 3 bands did a GREAT job so the spirit couldīnt be better with 1000 guys ....The first band Mainpain was great too so me and Chris were alone in the first row ...And with Area 54 we had 2 or 3 guys more in the first row...But ok with a beamy stage we had with Blaze not very more rows like 2 or 3 so it was a bit sad but great anyway....
Cheers Micha |

Hey
yeah the 54 guys.
Shame it was empty - would have thought the Blaze name alone would have pulled a few more...
Oh well. at least they had a go. shame it was so far to go.
take care mrs ! |

Hey!!!
Yeah only the name makes no sold out gig right??? No it was not enough advertising bevore so that was the main problem I think...Or it was because of the "old" guys are missing

I figured promotion was more like it.
I've been to so many gigs where the advertising was just invisible - why do they not promote their gigs when they are the ones losing the money.
Oh well - you got to see a nice intimate gig |

Last show was Trivium / Annihilator / Gojira / Sanctity.
Next one was due to be Earthshaker Roadshock on Thursday, but that's now been cancelled, so it'll be Saxon / Masterplan on Tuesday.
What is it with gig cancellations? That's my 5th one this year... |

Annihilator were the biggest disapointment for years. Pub Rock thrash band. |

Yep, I have to agree with that. They were still worth watching. But I was expecting so much more, particularly given how much everyone had raved about their show at The Underworld a few years ago (for which I had a ticket, but ended up missing anyway). I don't think they were helped by their choice of setlist, either. IMHO, "Carnival diablos" and "Waking the fury" are their two strongest albums by a long way, yet they didn't play anything from either. I'm guessing Jeff hasn't got over his spat with Joe Comeau yet... |
