Warrior Soul - Salutations from the Ghetto Nation (Still sounds incredible now, and at last remastered)
Buckcherry - 15 (The best rock album since Appetite for Destruction!)
Cathedral - The garden of unearthly delights (\m/) |

Currently I am enjoying Edguy's latest album, Rocket Ride. Other than that, I've just been listening to Joe Perry's recent solo album, because I've always had a thing for dirty blues riffing! |

Now that I'd be interested to hear!
Last Decade is my fav album as well superb stuff and they just covered so many styles on an album, from the full on almost punk of Trippin on Ecstasy to something just so mellow like Lullaby.
Loved everything they did even the off the wall Chilli Pill (Cargos of Doom is one of my fav tracks), and the punk Space Age Playboys album.
WS played the best gig I have ever been to as well. Went to the 10th Anniversary show at the LA2 (now Mean Fiddler) and they were stunning that night. Rumour has it that now the Remasters are out Kory is trying to get another gig sorted out again. Probably won't be quite the same since the death of Mark Evans though.
Sorry to babble on but WS are just my fav band ever and no one else seems to have ever heard of them! |

I can't think.
I haven't really discovered much new that i like for a long time.
i am digging back into the old past and reloving metallica, old offspring and Nirvana -all the stuff that got me here to begin with and takes me to a nice warm place i remember well.
Come on bands i like - get me some more new musica !! |

Kory's got a new band u kno Nige - Dirty Rig...sleazy kinda heavy rock n roll...not bad but not Warrior Soul!
I was speaking to Johnny the guitar player not so long back as well & he's flying Lear jets now!
He's currently writing new stuff tho...so maybe there's life in WS yet...
Yeah we're few & far between but I'm a massive fan of the band as well! |

Yeah I have got the Dirty Rig album on pre order. I've noticed that its got a version of Cities Scenes and Thieves on it which was on the Space Age Playboys "New Rock Underground" album, which was pretty damn good as well in places.
Mmm that's interesting to hear, however knowing Johnny Ricco's reputation of old, I wouldn't like him to fly me anywhere!
Did you get Kory's Opium Hotel solo album, and if so did you think it was as bizarre as I did? |

Just recently I've been listening to ThunderSteel by Riot a lot. An overlooked classic if ever there was one.
Also listening to a bit of Armored Saint in preperation for the gig this Thursday. |
