Well, it looks like he's managed to keep a backing band[1] together for long enough to record a new album. It's due out next month. Should be interesting. Whatever the politics surrounding the man and his band, I like his music. I'm seeing him at The Underworld next month.

[1] This time around featuring amongst others, Jay Walsh of FWK.

is back..And he had an good band around him..But the album is out in July for my last information...Funny I thought of you today..Went to the Hockenheimring here in germany..You remember?? Was really nice there...Cheers Micha

Yep. The FIA European Drag Racing tour no longer includes a German round, so I haven't been back for a few years. There's a possibility that will change in 2009, though, so with any luck, we might see Hockenheim back on the calendar. It's an amazing venue, and despite the over-officious security guards[1], I'd still like to go back again some day. But DTM is well worth watching, too, and of course there's always Formula 1 if you can afford it! And if you want Drag Racing, there is still the NitrOlympx at Hockenheim in mid-August -- it's just not a championship round, and so won't have as many of the big teams there.

..Tell me if you came back someday ok?? I saw that NitroOlympx on an poster there...Yep DTM is worth watching but my mom won tickets sooo you CAN watch it if you pay nothing right Laughing

And going throught the pit walk and seeing Niki Lauda and Mika Häkkinen is great..And most of all the sound and the smell!! Hmm I love that...Ahh and my mom won tickets for Arsenal London against VFB Stuttgart too Wink

So he is an lucky fellow..
With Blaze: do you see them next month the first time with the new band?? They are nice guys...They play the songs different to John and Steve and to hear stare at the sun without John and Steve on strage is strange but hmm nice as well...If you talk with Larry (the new drummer) tell him greetings from me...He knows me very well and he is an great guy.....

Yep. The last time I saw him, he was playing an acoustic show with Rich Newport. But this'll be the first time I've seen him with the current band.

As for Germany, I'll be there in early July for the Magic Circle Festival, but I probably won't have time for much else...

Ah ok but you know that Rich is gone?? He is an nice guy..I saw him once with Blaze here in germany..But the new line up is really good..They play the songs rougher but good...As I met Jay in Swiss (Dietmar wear his RTA Shirt Laughing

I think I told you that I don´t love festivals and open airs but good bands like I see..I love Gotthard *g*...
